DANTE in Tremont . . . You Gotta Check it Out

_____________________________________________________________________________

What a great gig!   Last week I had the most fun job . . . photographing the interior of the new Dante Restaurant.  Dare I say elegant and chic and modern and hip . . . you betcha!    Dante, located at 2247 Professor Ave. has set up digs in the former Third Federal Savings & Loan bank building in Cleveland's trendy Tremont neighborhood.    Chef Dante Boccuzzi has transformed the bank (complete with vault) into a rich, inviting space where diners will want to linger over good food and fabulous wine.

Ok, I am not a food critic so I won't go into detail about the fabulous food and wine, rather, I will take you on a tour of this beautifully appointed restaurant, and once you see the photos you will want to check it out for yourself.  Ultra-high ceilings and large windows that provide beautiful natural light give the space a hightened sense of grandeur.  Did I mention the tin ceiling and custom chandelier?  Below is a shot of the bar area looking toward Professor Avenue.  The attention to detail is amazing . . . everything sparkles!

Below is the view you are greeted to upon entering the restaurant.  The color scheme is warm and rich and . . . once again let me say . . . inviting.

You may want to reserve the table in the vault . . .

Or select a table with a view of Professor Avenue

The well-appointed wine cellar

For something special  . . . the "Chef's Table" offers an incredible dining experience.

I hope you have had as much fun touring the restaurant as I had photographing it.  Check out their website at http://www.restaurantdante.us/ .  Thanks for taking the time to view my photo blog : )

Sarah & Gabriel - Winter Wedding

Every bride is beautiful, every groom handsome and everyday is the perfect day for a wedding!  This was definitely the case on January 23rd when I photographed Sarah & Gabriel's wedding for the Photography Warehouse.  Outside the day was a little overcast and a little chilly . . . but all-in-all . . . great weather for a January wedding in Cleveland, Ohio!

Beautiful flowers and colorful shoes set the mood . . .

Finishing touches . . .

There were lots of hugs and kisses . . .

It was a beautiful ceremony in one of Cleveland's lovely historical churches.

After the ceremony it was off to Grand Pacific Junction in Olmsted Falls.  It was definitely a step back in time and is listed as one of the most authentic and original revitalized downtown historical districts in Ohio. Fabulous Greek revival architecture made the storefronts a photogaphers dream and was exactly what the bride and groom wanted for their pictures.

Sarah was prepared for a January wedding and looked adorable in her cape and muff.

We had so much fun and everyone stayed relatively warm.

Please join me in wishing Sarah & Gabriel best wishes on their new life together . . .

It was a lovely day, lovely families, lovely photos . . . Many wonderful memories were made.

2010 Wedding Season in Full Swing

2010 will be a wonderful year for weddings!  The first ones are already booked for January and hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can get some fabulous winterscapes.

Here are a few of my favorite moments from last season . . . hope you enjoy!

Chad and Emily at Hale Farm . . . it was a step back in time . . . located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, just 20 miles south of Cleveland, Hale Farm is a picturesque setting on 90 acres.  Charming historic buildings dating from the mid-19th century are clustered around a pristine village green and Emily & Chad's wedding was held in the 1850 Greek Revival Meetinghouse.

The setting was pastoral with the sheep grazing in the meadows . . .

Umbrellas were everywhere . . . A little rain didn't spoil the day or the fun

Chad and Emily were an absolutely lovely couple to photograph and they put so much of their personalities into every detail . . . including writing a poem for each and every guest that was tucked inside each table place card.

Miscellaneous Memories
