2010 Wedding Season Comes to an End

2010 was a fabulous wedding season with an abundance of beautiful brides, handsome grooms and fabulous photographs.  I have included a few of those wedding stories to share with everyone.

One of the most memorable weddings this year was held June 5th at the beautiful Mastropietro Winery in Berlin Center, Ohio.  You may recall that this was the day that a tornado went through the area bringing along torrential rains for much of the day.

Although, initially there was some concern, not one person stressed out about the weather.  The bride and bridesmaids took off their shoes and went barefoot as did many of the guests.  It was a little wet but everyone had a great time.

The weather did not dampen the excitement of the day for Meghen.  She was radiant as she walked down the aisle with her father into the arms of her waiting groom.

As luck would have it the bad weather passed and a wonderful time was had by everyone.

Chris and Jason were married September 18th and it was a gorgeous day with plenty of sunshine and blue sky.   Chris was stunning in her wedding dress and Jason was handsome in his tux.

The Brooker Insurance Building on Pearl Road in Strongsville was a lovely backdrop for bridal photos.  Everyone then traveled to Medina for the reception where eveyone had lots of fun and good food and danced the night away with the bride and groom.

Melissa & Caleb . . . were an adorable young couple.  Caleb had just finished his ROTC Training at Kent State University and Melissa was finishing her studies as well.

The ceremony was held at a lovely church in Hudson, Ohio.

Not only was Melissa a beautiful bride but she had a great sense of humor as well.

As the evening ended . . . a tired bride and groom take a few minutes to relax

Margeaux & Kyle . . . were married at the Botanical Gardens at University Circle in Cleveland.  It is just an amazing place for a wedding and the ceremony in the Rose Garden was lovely.  Family and friends shared this special day with the bride and groom and everyone danced long into the evening.

Lisa & Dan . . . what more can be said . . . beautiful bride, handsome groom and a perfect day for a wedding.

I want to thank all the brides and grooms that allowed me to share their wedding day with them and their families and friends.  I loved every minute of every wedding and together we all collaborated to create wonderful memories.   Thank you  . . . thank you . . . thank you : )

It was a Beautiful Day for a Wedding

Ok, so it was a little brisk and overcast and there was a little snow on the ground but nevertheless, February 28, 2010 was a beautiful day for Darin and Wendy Cyphers Haas to celebrate their wedding.  Held at Lions Park Lodge in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, it was a lovely intimate setting for friends and family to come together to share the day with Wendy and Darin.

It is always a great time when photographing with Herbert Ascherman Jr., from Ascherman Photographers.  Mr. Ascherman works with an 8 x 10 view camera and took photographs of the couple in a style reminiscent of a bygone era.  He prints his images in the antique process of platinum/palladium which yields exquisite photographic prints.  Please visit his website at http://www.ascherman.com/ to see his fabulous work.

DANTE in Tremont . . . You Gotta Check it Out

_____________________________________________________________________________

What a great gig!   Last week I had the most fun job . . . photographing the interior of the new Dante Restaurant.  Dare I say elegant and chic and modern and hip . . . you betcha!    Dante, located at 2247 Professor Ave. has set up digs in the former Third Federal Savings & Loan bank building in Cleveland's trendy Tremont neighborhood.    Chef Dante Boccuzzi has transformed the bank (complete with vault) into a rich, inviting space where diners will want to linger over good food and fabulous wine.

Ok, I am not a food critic so I won't go into detail about the fabulous food and wine, rather, I will take you on a tour of this beautifully appointed restaurant, and once you see the photos you will want to check it out for yourself.  Ultra-high ceilings and large windows that provide beautiful natural light give the space a hightened sense of grandeur.  Did I mention the tin ceiling and custom chandelier?  Below is a shot of the bar area looking toward Professor Avenue.  The attention to detail is amazing . . . everything sparkles!

Below is the view you are greeted to upon entering the restaurant.  The color scheme is warm and rich and . . . once again let me say . . . inviting.

You may want to reserve the table in the vault . . .

Or select a table with a view of Professor Avenue

For something special  . . . the "Chef's Table" offers an incredible dining experience.

I hope you have had as much fun touring the restaurant as I had photographing it.  Check out their website at http://www.restaurantdante.us/ .  Thanks for taking the time to view my photo blog : )
